Welcome to our charming traditional Spanish Cortijo, located just 40 minutes from Malaga airport, in a stunning mountainous location that provides picturesque views of the surrounding open land and mountains. Overview

Our 100-year-old Cortijo has been restored to an extremely high standard and provides a luxury stay with a blend of traditional and modern design. You will have access to your own private living area with direct access to the stunning courtyard where you can enjoy your daily breakfast in the Spanish sun. Breakfast here is included in the room rate and consists of fresh pastries, toast, jams, marmalades, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, teas and coffee, orange juice, and on special occasions, bucks fizz.

Interior

Our double room with a king-size bed, air conditioning, and views over open land, mountains, and our swimming pool will provide you with a peaceful and comfortable night’s sleep. Guests will have their own shower room and their own sitting room with an open fireplace for winter visits and air conditioning for the hotter months if needed. We have included delightful Ritual Spa bathroom products to enhance your overall experience.

Our Cortijo has a rich history that spans over a century. We have restored the property to an extremely high standard while still maintaining its original character and charm. Staying here will provide you with a unique opportunity to experience the traditional Spanish way of life while enjoying modern luxury and amenities.

Exterior

Our property’s exterior includes a stunning courtyard, a balcony, a garden, a pool, and parking. You can enjoy your breakfast or spend your evenings relaxing in the peaceful surroundings of the courtyard. Our balcony provides you with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, while our garden is the perfect place for a leisurely stroll. The pool area is perfect for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip on a hot summer day.

Location

Our Cortijo is located in an area that is especially popular with hikers and cyclists as it is set up in the mountains with fantastic views and great hiking and biking trails.

We are 10 minutes drive to Archidona, Villanueva Del Rosario, and Villanueva Del Trabuco, three quaint Spanish towns with an array of restaurants and bars along with typically Spanish shops.

The main town of Antequera is about 20 minutes drive from here, which is much larger with more shops.

We can arrange trips to a Bodega for wine tasting, cream tea up in the mountains (subject to availability), and if you are happy to go a little further afield, there are the main attractions of Seville and Granada.

Additionally, we are only 40 minutes from the Costa Del Sol and the coast with its beach bars, restaurants, and many international shops.

Important Information

Please note that we have three friendly dogs that roam around the ground floor of the house but will not be allowed into your private lounge or bedroom. So, if you are a dog lover, you are more than welcome to stay with us.
